The Save Mart Companies is recruiting for a Store Manager in Alameda County to oversee the Lucky store at 815 Marina Village Pkwy, Alameda, CA 94501. You will drive daily operations, lead a management team, and ensure exceptional customer service while meeting financial goals.

Requires five years of management experience (minimum one year as ASM), a four-year degree or equivalent, and availability for varied retail hours; salary range listed reflects compensation expectations.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).
• Five years management experience with minimum one year as Assistant Store Manager.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with a remarkable shopping experience by leading and training store associates to deliver excellent service.
• Drives improvement in customer experience and store performance to increase sales and profitability.
• Develops a customer-focused organization and succession planning for the store leadership team.
• Manages total store financials (sales, profit and loss, metrics) and implements best practices.
• Leads and mentors direct reports to achieve high-level business outcomes.
• Oversees store safety, food safety, asset protection, and compliance programs.
• Represents the store with Lucky leadership and engages with the community as a company ambassador.
• Ensures efficient use of resources to improve productivity and labor flexibility.
