Overview

Our Store Managers are responsible for building a team of top performers, creating an exceptional customer experience, and empowering the team to excel. You will manage all aspects of the store, including hiring and training associates, overseeing store operations, and achieving sales and profitability goals. You will foster a positive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers daily. Bringing energy and a team-oriented mindset is essential.

Reporting Line

The Store Manager reports to the District Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

As the Store Manager, you will:

  • Utilize market knowledge and data to create action plans and meet financial and customer service goals.
  • Demonstrate product, sales, and operational knowledge to maximize sales.
  • Engage with customers to build loyalty using company tools.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Motivate and identify team strengths.
  • Provide and receive feedback for performance improvement.
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable.
  • Ensure merchandising and operational standards are met consistently.
  • Manage expenses like payroll and training to increase profitability.
  • Build trust within the team despite differing perspectives.
  • Remain composed during challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Lead or assist with visual merchandising tasks.
  • Perform POS transactions and management duties in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
  • Schedule staff to match their strengths for optimal productivity.

Qualifications

You will also have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Store Manager in a similar volume, apparel environment (preferred).
  • A proven record of exceeding sales and performance metrics.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Potential travel to other store locations and participation in district meetings.
