District Council of Madison, Inc., Society of St. Vincent de Paul seeks a Store Manager for the Stoughton thrift store. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, training, and customer service to maximize productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, maintaining POS accuracy, budgeting and promotions, and ensuring a safe, inclusive workplace. This is a full-time position starting at $62,000 per year with weekend and evening shifts as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Counterpoint or similar POS system.
• Proven analytics skills and ability to visualize data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead presentations.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise store personnel and enforce Store policies.
• Plan staffing, schedule employees, and manage HR-related duties.
• Oversee inventory, stocking, rotation, and merchandising standards.
• Maintain cash handling and POS procedures for accuracy.
• Forecast sales budgets and coordinate promotions to drive revenue.
• Promote safety and a positive, inclusive work environment.
