Job summary

Total Wine & More in Brandon, FL is seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and grow the brand through exceptional service. You will oversee store operations, set a sales-driven culture, and maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations.

You will manage payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink while building vendor partnerships and delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years of work experience, 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory retail role.
• Experience leading and developing a sales-focused team; big box experience preferred.
• Experience managing overall financial performance.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

About The Role As Store Manager, you will grow the company brand by delivering best-in-class service and bringing to life a distinctive world of adult beverages and more for our customers. You will manage store operations and create a sales and service culture to expand our customer base and maximize profitability. Internally, you will be referred to as Store Manager and report to the District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs)
• Recruit, train, and manage store team, including ongoing development and disciplinary action
• Manage day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example, fostering a welcoming and knowledgeable store atmosphere, and resolving customer issues
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• 4-6 years of work experience, 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting
• Experience leading, developing and motivating a sales-focused team, big box experience preferred
• Experience managing overall financial performance
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
