AS A STORE MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC STORE MANAGER:
  • Strong coaching, training, and engagement skills for diverse team members.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
  • Proficiency with Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Setting goals, guiding performance, and maintaining high standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STORE MANAGER:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years management experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
  • Full mobility for bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
