AS A STORE MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

- Develop, coach, evaluate, and retain management and staff talent, creating sustainable strategies to support growth
- Recruit and manage a diverse range of associates and leaders
- Invest in continuous training and development for yourself and your team

- Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth and profitability
- Build a guest-centric culture using survey tools to improve key areas impacting guest experience
- Promote credit and loyalty programs to enhance the guest shopping experience
- Ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to standards
- Implement merchandising, product flow, inventory, and signage standards for brand consistency
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC STORE MANAGER:
- Strong coaching, training, and engagement skills for diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport and trust
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Proficiency with Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STORE MANAGER:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 2-3 years of management experience preferred
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential functions
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds
- Full mobility required for bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching
