AS A STORE MANAGER, A TYPICAL DAY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A BEALLS OR HOME CENTRIC STORE MANAGER:
  • Strong coaching, training, and engagement skills with staff at all experience levels.
  • Excellent rapport-building, trust, and communication skills to promote growth and performance.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal setting, performance management, and accountability skills.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A STORE MANAGER:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including mid-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential functions, with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
  • Full mobility for bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
