Job description

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education & Experience: An associate degree in business administration, retail sales, or marketing is preferred; 2 years' experience in staff management and development or a combination of education and experience.
2. Certifications: Valid Driver's License. Ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per Salvation Army Policy.
3. Skills/Abilities:
   • Effective communication skills in English with customers, management, and co-workers.
   • Basic computer skills, including Point of Sale System, payroll programs, Microsoft Office Suite, and other systems adopted by TSA ARC.
   • Ability to give change accurately.
   • Good speaking, hearing, vision, and manual dexterity.
4. Supervisory Responsibility: Collaborate with the Regional Manager to recruit, interview, and recommend store staff; train and supervise staff; conduct personnel reviews; approve time and attendance; check logs regularly, following regulations and trainings.
5. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, use hands, handle, feel, hear, talk, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 100 pounds occasionally. Visual abilities include close, distance, and focus adjustment. Work environment includes store setting with potential dust and temperature fluctuations. May stand for extended periods.
6. Travel: May require travel to various locations for work, training, and management sessions.
7. Working Conditions: Retail/warehouse environment; full-time with weekend and evening hours.
