SUMMARY: As a Store Manager at MAPCO, you will be responsible for all aspects of your store’s team and operations. You will drive store profitability, manage inventory, recruit, hire, train, and develop staff to ensure a customer-focused workforce that delivers a superior guest experience, embodying our brand promise of “Convenience You Can Trust”.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily store operations, including hiring, training, developing your team, and driving profitability.
  2. Foster a culture prioritizing guest needs and providing reliable convenience.
  3. Serve as a role model with a high-energy, friendly attitude towards team members and guests.
  4. Manage P&L and inventory, analyze sales trends, and implement strategies to maximize sales and performance.
  5. Create an organized, process-oriented environment.
  6. Communicate company objectives to ensure team understanding and alignment.
  7. Set clear performance expectations, monitor results, and promote continuous improvement.
  8. Schedule staff effectively to meet guest demand while controlling labor costs.
  9. Promote a culture of exceptional guest service and operational excellence, adhering to MAPCO standards.
  10. Optimize expenses through disciplined spending and thorough planning.
  11. Forecast and analyze business trends to maximize store performance and profitability.
Qualifications

  2. Strong leadership, team-building, and managerial skills, including feedback, recruiting, and performance management.
  3. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex issues clearly.

  5. Manage work schedules within budgets for optimal coverage.

  7. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
  8. Availability to be on call 24/7.
Education and Experience
  1. High School diploma or GED required.
  2. 1-2 years retail management experience in a similar environment.
Physical Demands

Employees must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, bend, squat/stoop, type, operate equipment, and lift up to 40 pounds. The role requires working 50-60 hours weekly and being on call 24/7. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
