The Store Manager is responsible for the sales, profitability, appearance, and overall operations of the store. The objectives are to achieve consistent sales growth, maintain the proper O’Reilly image, operate as a profit center, and adhere to policies and procedures to ensure efficient and economical store operations.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Maximize sales by leading team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service.
  2. Solicit orders, sell products, and represent the company according to policies.
  3. Maintain and grow customer base, increase sales volume, and review customer needs to gain market share.
  4. Coordinate sales efforts with the Territory Sales Manager.
  5. Supervise store team members, participate in recruiting, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging staff.
  6. Develop work schedules based on sales and payroll forecasts; review and correct timecard entries.
  7. Ensure team members improve skills through ongoing training on policies, customer service, safety, and operations.
  8. Work with Sales and Pricing Departments to establish pricing levels for professional customers.
  9. Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor pricing policies.
  10. Ensure store organization and policy compliance; communicate updates to staff.
  11. Implement merchandising plans and planogram changes.
  12. Provide accurate stock adjustment reports to Inventory Control.
  13. Handle daily store accounting functions efficiently, including sales reports, deposits, and cash management.
  14. Monitor charge accounts and address past due situations in coordination with management.
  15. Implement loss prevention procedures to safeguard assets.
  16. Maintain store vehicles and report property needs.
  17. Attend the Annual Managers' Conference and perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program, strong communication skills, organizational skills, automotive knowledge.

Desired: Multilingual abilities (Spanish preferred), Certified Parts Professional, ASE certification.
