Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and coach team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.

We’re building something new in Woodbury—and we’re looking for a strong retail leader who wants to help shape it from the beginning. As a Store Manager, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help launch our newest Uptown Cheapskate location, build a great team and culture, and play a key role in growing the store within the Woodbury community.

Uptown Cheapskate isn’t your typical thrift store. We’re a fashion-forward resale retailer where customers can buy and sell everything from everyday favorites to sought-after designer brands—from Forever 21 to Gucci and everything in between. Our stores are carefully curated with current, on-trend styles for teens and young adults.

Responsibilities:

As a Manager at Uptown Cheapskate Woodbury, you’ll help lead the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced resale retail store while creating a positive experience for both our customers and team. Responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate, and coach team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining store standards.
• Monitor sales, buying, customer loyalty, and other key store performance goals throughout each shift.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to ensure team members are meeting performance expectations.
• Support scheduling, employee coverage, attendance, and communication as needed.
• Help execute store promotions, special events, product drops, and other marketing initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with ownership and other managers regarding staffing, inventory, customer concerns, and store performance.

Most importantly, our Managers set the tone for the store. We’re looking for someone who is positive, dependable, organized, comfortable giving direction and feedback, and excited to build a strong team culture at our brand-new Woodbury location.

Compensation: $45k-$60k Base (DOE) + Annual Bonus
