Job summary

Trek Store Williamsburg is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and uphold extraordinary customer experiences. You will set standards for performance, budgeting, and team engagement.

You will oversee training, staffing, merchandising, and operations while ensuring top-notch employee performance and budget-beating results. This role demands hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail fundamentals including KPIs, P&L, budgets and store metrics.
• Leadership experience: guided a team for at least one year and coached others.
• Retail experience of 2+ years in a store environment.
• Ability to manage inventory, merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by leading from the floor with hospitality and top performance.
• Lead training across key areas and conduct bi-weekly leadership meetings.
• Oversee store merchandising, operations, inventory, and QuickBooks exports.
• Hire, onboard, schedule, and develop the store team; support HR processes.

Job Description

As Store Manager, a lot of responsibility will rest on your shoulders. You'll lead the charge in every aspect of your store's day-to-day operations and plans for future success, and you'll be the one person ultimately accountable for setting the standard for best in the world customer experiences, top-notch employee performance, and budget-beating sales.

Job Description

• Financial Performance - 50%
  • Drive sales by leading from the floor, providing incredible hospitality, and being one of the top two performing salespeople.
  • Support financial goals through participating in the annual budgeting process, financial reviews, and team coaching.
• Staff Performance - 25%
  • Lead training across all key areas and validate through observation, role-play, and tools like Trek U.
  • Host bi-weekly leadership meetings with your leadership team and directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to review performance and plan ahead.
• Store Merchandising & Operations - 15%
  • Maintain an organized, shopper-friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.
  • Oversee store operations including inventory management, supply management, and QuickBooks exports.
• Human Resources - 10%
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
  • Support all HR processes including discipline and team engagement.

What you'll bring to the team

• Retail Know-How: You've got a solid handle on retail fundamentals-think KPIs, profit & loss statements, budgets-the numbers that keep a store thriving.
• Leadership Experience: You've led a team for at least a year and know how to coach, inspire, and bring out the best in people.
• Retail Roots: You've spent at least 2 years in the retail world.
• Operational Chops: From inventory and merchandising to payroll, scheduling, and customer service-you've done it all and can juggle these pieces like a pro.
• Love for Bikes: You believe bikes make the world better! Whether you're a daily commuter, weekend warrior, or just love helping others discover cycling, you bring the fuel.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You're quick on your feet and great at figuring things out-even when the path isn't totally clear.
• Communication Game: You know how to keep it clear, real, and respectful-whether it's over email, in a team huddle, or helping a customer find their perfect ride.
• Comfort with Change: Retail moves fast, and you're cool with that. You're flexible, resourceful, and ready to roll with whatever comes your way.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary $65,000.00 - $70,000.00
