The Tile Shop is hiring a Store Manager with a people and sales-driven leadership spirit. We seek outstanding, knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated managers whose top priority is to provide exemplary leadership to their team while delivering excellent customer service. As a Store Manager, you will lead by example to build, develop, and inspire your team towards achieving sales goals and creating the ultimate customer experience.

Job Description

1. Build and develop a well-rounded team of Assistant Managers and Sales Associates.
2. Train and coach employees on policies, procedures, and job duties.
3. Proactively greet customers and develop lasting relationships.
4. Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations.
5. Learn and utilize knowledge of all store and warehouse operations.
6. Lead by example to achieve sales goals.
7. Learn the installation process and products to educate customers.
8. Track and meet established store sales goals.
9. Provide customers with updates on product delivery status.
10. Maintain professional standards to protect The Tile Shop brand.
11. Develop schedules for Store Associates and Warehouse Personnel.
12. Maintain inventory accuracy.
13. Practice good business practices at all times.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected 1st year income: $85K-$110K.

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of experience in retail management.
2. Previous sales experience.
3. Proven ability to build, develop, and motivate a sales team.
4. Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.
5. Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, commission-based environment.
6. Open to learning and growth, both independently and from feedback.
7. Lead with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
8. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
9. Sense of design: ability to put together various styles, colors, and textures.
10. Basic mathematical and computer skills.
11. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
