Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Salon Manager to lead a beauty and wellness-focused sales team. You’ll drive customer experiences, manage a team of Beauty Consultants, and push for sales goals in a fast-paced, wellness-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and a commitment to growth within a seasonal cycle that highlights wellness and self-care over traditional retail peaks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day success of your salon and provide exceptional customer and team experiences.

• Hire, train, coach and develop Beauty Consultants; provide ongoing product and service training.
• Motivate and maintain a positive, results-driven culture; build relationships and recommend memberships and services.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling and performance tracking; ensure compliance with policies.

Salon Manager – Beauty & Wellness Sales | $24–$29+/hr

Palm Beach Tan offers a different kind of retail management career. We're a beauty, wellness and membership-based business with a seasonal cycle similar to the fitness and wellness industry. Our busiest season is primarily during the first half of the year—not Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Christmas.

We're looking for a motivated, sales-driven leader who loves beauty, wellness, skincare and self-care and is excited to develop a team, build customer relationships and grow their career.

Compensation & Earning Potential

• Base pay starts at $21/hour
• Average earnings of $24–$29 per hour with commission
• Top performers can earn even more
• Commission program includes multiplier opportunities
• Commission is calculated and paid every pay period
• Monthly performance bonus opportunities of $500–$1,500, depending on salon classification and performance
• Additional monthly incentive and earning opportunities
• Quarterly reviews with opportunities to increase your base pay

What You'll Do

As a Salon Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day success of your salon while creating an exceptional experience for both your customers and your team.

• Lead your salon to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals
• Hire, train, coach and develop a team of Beauty Consultants
• Provide ongoing sales, product and customer service training
• Motivate your team and create a positive, accountable and results-driven culture
• Provide personalized customer consultations for tanning, wellness, skincare and beauty products
• Build customer relationships and recommend memberships, services and products based on individual goals
• Track salon performance and develop action plans to achieve goals
• Ensure all company policies, procedures and legal requirements are followed
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional salon environment
• Manage opening and closing procedures and cash handling
• Complete daily administrative responsibilities and performance tracking

What We're Looking For

• Previous management, leadership, retail sales or customer service experience
• Strong sales and communication skills
• Passion for beauty, wellness, skincare, tanning, fitness or self-care
• Comfortable working in a goal-oriented, commission-based sales environment
• Ability to coach, motivate and hold a team accountable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Dependable, professional and self-motivated
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
