Value Pawn & Jewelry in Ocala, FL is seeking a Store Manager to lead a 3-10+ member sales team and deliver outstanding customer service daily.

You will coach, mentor, recruit, and train teammates while building strong customer relationships and negotiating pawn and sales agreements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in a management role.
• Ability to describe various solutions and their benefits to the customer.
• Strategic and tactical management skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Accountability for meeting targets in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong marketing and community outreach abilities.
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus.
• Pawn experience, a plus.
• Bilingual, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3 to 10+ Sales Associates and provide outstanding customer service.
• Negotiate mutually satisfying pawn and sales agreements with customers.
• Analyze reports and profitability statements and provide recommendations.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train Team Members while monitoring results.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to help Team Members achieve goals.
• Schedule and assign Team Members to meet store objectives and maintain operations.
• Ensure pricing and timely markdowns follow guidelines.
• Secure merchandise by implementing security measures.
• Market and display merchandise while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.
• Comply with all legal requirements and enforce program/policy procedures.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Analyzing reports and profitability statements and providing recommendations and necessary action plans

• Providing ongoing coaching and development to assist Team Members in achieving their performance and career aspirations
• Ensuring store operational requirements are met by scheduling and assigning Team Members and following up on their work results

• Securing merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
• Marketing and displaying merchandise to ensure store standards are met while protecting Team Members and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
• Complying with all legal requirements
• Maintaining operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing all program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
