Overview

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a passionate, people-first store leader to oversee store operations. The Store Manager is committed to their store team, customers, and the community. They are accountable for increasing business results and achieving operational goals while coaching and developing their team to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience for all customers.

• Involved in the interview/hiring process, building a diverse and effective store team.
• Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and data analysis; control expenses and workforce budgeting.
• Ensure floor sets are executed, visual standards are met, and the store is clean, organized, and safe.
• Prioritize community involvement and build relationships with local leaders.
• Manage shrink results through compliance with safety, loss prevention, and cash-handling procedures.
• Lead with a people-first approach, building trust, listening actively, and dedicating time to the team.
• Lead through coaching and development, incorporating learning into daily leadership.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels safe, welcome, and respected.

Qualifications
