They actively partner across other stores and departments to collaborate on solutions-oriented problem solving, implement improvements, and position the retail team for success. The Store Manager is an ambassador of our client’s mission and core values and represents this in the lived experience of customers, employees, and communities. They are responsible for the success and impact of their store.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively communicate our client’s brand story, values, and mission to customers and team members
  • Share expert brand and product knowledge to allow customers to personally experience the style, look, and quality of the shoes
  • Build and maintain community through in-store activations/events, including planning and executing two activations per month to drive brand awareness and incremental volume opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director and proactively train the team on SOPs, store guidelines, and expectations
  • Deliver customer-oriented and product insights back to the Retail and HQ teams
  • Report on sales, returns, and relevant store statistics with accuracy and in a timely manner; understand how the store impacts related parts of business operations
  • Hire, lead, develop and motivate a strong team of store associates and management to deliver an excellent in-store experience; coach for high performance and manage employee relations with values-based leadership
  • Demonstrate good judgment on key work and core issues while developing critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills
  • Execute and continuously improve operational processes and ensure the store meets or exceeds financial expectations
  • Oversee daily staffing and payroll optimization, inventory management, and internal systems to process orders and manage inventory effectively
  • Partner and communicate in decision-making with visual business partners to drive brand standards and optimize sales opportunities

You Are

  • Excited to be a part of a new and growing retail organization and value leading with positive intent
  • Proactive in taking initiative on performance matters based on metrics and observations
  • An excellent communicator who can report clearly and concisely both in person and virtually
  • Strong in operational experience with the ability to adapt to changes while managing multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • Quick to learn, think critically, propose solutions, and take productive action without direction
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to understand the business and customer needs
  • Proficient in operational technologies such as Shopify, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office products
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of large and small projects

You Have

  • 4–6 years of retail, customer experience, or hospitality experience, with at least 2 years of proven success in a management role leading a team and store in a fast-paced setting
  • Extensive experience in store openings, training teams, and leading by example
  • A positive attitude and relentless focus on ensuring the best experience for customers and team members
  • A leadership style rooted in kindness and a passion for working with both customers and internal teams
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, maintaining established Hours of Operation to meet customer expectations
  • Physical ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day in a busy store environment and to bend and lift up to 25 pounds
