A leading company in the retail industry is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee all store operations and ensure exceptional customer relations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interviewing and hiring staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining the store's profitability through effective leadership and operational excellence. This position requires strong mathematical skills and a commitment to high standards.
This job is responsible for all cash and profits of the store, and for exemplary customer relations. Supervises and directs all store operations, including sub-department managers. The job requires a full understanding of all store operations, including Meat, Produce, Bakery/Deli and Grocery Departments. The job performs such tasks as interviewing and hiring employees, establishing work schedules, and managing employees’ concerns, and is responsible for bookkeeping and all required daily reports.
REQUIREMENTS:

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Corporate databases (Item Master, Movement)
