Responsibilities
  • Oversee the service department, managing schedules and ordering parts
  • Review technician inspection reports
  • Manage technician time and shop engagement
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle progress
  • Support staffing decisions and manage timecards
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and parts departments to improve performance and profitability
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years' experience in automotive service advising/writing, including store management and supervision
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Knowledge of automotive services, MS Office, business and financial principles, POS software, and ADP Workforce Now (beneficial)
Skills and Abilities
  • Retail management, sales, and shift supervision
  • Leadership, team motivation, and staff training
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution
  • Inventory control, CRM skills, and cash handling
  • Willingness to participate in training and maintain a good driving record
