Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Store Manager in Houston to oversee all store staff and daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and achievement of sales and profitability targets. This leadership role requires building a high-performing team, modeling company values, and driving a customer-centric shopping experience.

The successful candidate will manage staffing, training, and visual merchandising while maintaining product knowledge, inventory control, and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years of retail experience, including staff supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Understanding of how to develop staff with experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, etc.

• Display organizational skills with the ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Store Manager (F/T) The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all staff and operations as well as maintaining the overall presentation of the store.
