Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Store Manager to lead a Trane Supply Store and warehouse, overseeing operations, staff, and customer satisfaction. You will build a customer-focused culture, develop a diverse team, and execute annual operating plans while forecasting and reviewing financials.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining showroom appearance, and driving lean practices. On-site role with potential forklift operation; full benefits and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience leading teams and building customer relationships.
• Must be results driven, a strong team player and maintain high energy.
• Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program a plus along with strong computer skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic understanding of Lean Principles.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Driver’s License. Upon Hire Required.

• Develops and coaches strong, diverse team to achieve performance goals and business results in both warehouse and retail store.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans for store. Prepare and analyze business forecasts and reports, conduct audits and reviews to ensure business process and financial compliance.
• Manages store operations to ensure follow-through, productivity and quality in standard work and processes. Oversee store inventory program to ensure inventory levels to support customer availability and reduce OSMI. Forecast requirements and provide input to SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process.
• Responsible for showroom appearance
• Responsible for self-continuous education to stay current on market trends and products.
• Occasionally operate a forklift and lifting up to 50lbs.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management and leadership of a Trane Supply Store and warehouse facility. In this role, you will oversee the store/facility management, lead and develop a dynamic team of store associates, and be a trusted advisor to customers. What You Will Bring

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 2+ years experience leading teams and building customer relationships.
• Must be results driven, a strong team player and be able to maintain a high energy level even with challenging situations or customers.
• Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program a plus along with strong computer skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic understanding of Lean Principles.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Driver’s License. Upon Hire Required.
