Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in High Point, NC is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our auto parts team. You will own the store's P&L, drive sales growth, and coach an engaged crew to deliver exceptional customer care.

You will map out business plans, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure store assets are secure and well maintained in a fast-paced retail environment. A strong background in automotive parts and retail leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with vision and collaboration in a market leading store.
• Passion for delivering customer care and building long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of inventory controls, stocking levels and seasonal shifts.
• Self-motivated with initiative to accomplish business goals.
• Customer focus and high energy in fast-paced stores.
• Experience operating a cash register and navigating catalog systems.
• ASE Certifications or automotive background are a plus.

• Know how to take full responsibility for P&L while mapping out initiatives and business plans for the store and solving roadblock issues.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a cash register and navigate computer and paper catalog systems
• Passion for delivering customer care in a strong team environment

• Technical or trade school courses or degree
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
• Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision, or fast food/restaurant/convenience store management experience
• Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
• ASE Certifications
