Description

We are looking for full-time Store Managers who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working!

The Store Manager is responsible for providing and training staff on exemplary selling and customer service. They aim to improve store productivity and profitability while ensuring the best customer experience. Responsibilities include product recommendations, issue resolution, and serving as a role model for retail best practices. The focus is on sales, service, and relationship-building. The Store Manager also shares product knowledge, manages store communications, and oversees operations as directed by the District Manager.

Additionally, the Store Manager manages inventory procedures, conducts product sets, stocks products, maintains housekeeping, and collaborates with the Director of Retail to understand and implement the Business Insight Cycle.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Manage, train, coach, and motivate a team that connects with customers.
  2. Lead, influence, and develop relationships with customers, store, corporate, and vendor partners.
  3. Communicate effectively and authentically with others.
  4. Capably execute visual merchandising aligned with brand standards.
  5. Proficient in using POS systems, handheld devices, and Windows OS.
  6. Thrive in dynamic environments, inspiring others and embracing challenges.
  7. Meet and exceed sales goals and retail metrics.
  8. Manage daily store operations and special projects.
  9. Organize and execute in-store events and services within the community.
  10. Uphold company policies and practices.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of retail management experience, including sales and customer service.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Availability to close the store at least once a week and work four weekend shifts per month.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in specialty retail management.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and customer engagement skills.
  • Effective communication and adaptability.
  • Proficiency with computers and technology.
  • Ability to train staff and understand policies and procedures.
  • Accountability for cash and asset management.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks regularly.
  • Work at heights, in variable environments, and communicate effectively.

Employment Status: Full-time, salaried, exempt position, minimum 40 hours/week.

Pay: $49,000 - $57,000 annually.
