Job summary

GOODWILL in Dalton, GA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, maximize sales, and control expenses in a donated goods environment. You will supervise staff, train, and ensure excellent donor and customer service while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or completion of related retail management coursework preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in a role overseeing 15+ employees preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.Assist at other store locations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEHigh School degree or GED, required.Associate degree or completion of related retail management course work preferred.5 years of experience in a supervisory role of 15 or more employees preferred and/or demonstrated success in a DGR leadership position with completion of Goodwill assigned training.High level of attention to detail.Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills, bilingual a plus.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Must be able to adapt to growth and a changing environment within the Organization.Ability to complete and maintain: CPR and First Aid certifications.Ability to transfer to any Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area within the territory.Reliable transportation and communication required.Willingness and ability to travel as needed for organizational purposes, including to other sight locations and regular meetings.Must be available to work during operating business hours as needed for business operations.
