Job summary

Staples is seeking a General Manager to lead a collaborative, customer-focused retail team in Concord, NC. You will drive store performance, community engagement, and a portfolio of services including print, marketing, and B2B solutions while ensuring excellent service and store culture.

The Bench GM role involves traveling to multiple stores until a position becomes available, with strong emphasis on coaching, operating excellence, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager.
• Experience with store operations, analysis, financial acumen, and driving results.
• Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution.
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.
