Responsibilities:

• Manage the profitable operation of a retail store, focusing on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in operations and merchandising.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures.
• Implement operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, signage, and displays to create an inviting environment for customers.
• Contribute to the store's maximum profit realization.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Engage in creative problem solving related to associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years retail management experience.
• Background in hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong skills in freight processing and productivity management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
