Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join our On-Site Store Manager role at a Trane Supply Store. You will lead store and warehouse, build a high-performing team, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers, driving operational excellence and service quality.

You will develop annual operating plans, monitor forecasts, oversee inventory, maintain showroom appearance, and stay current on market trends. This position requires leadership, a valid license, and commitment to safety and customer

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years leading teams and building customer relationships.
• Results driven with high energy in challenging situations.
• Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic understanding of Lean Principles.

Responsibilities

• Leads the team by fostering a customer-focused culture and builds strong relationships with key customers, achieved by effectively executing Trane Technologies RMX program.
• Develops and coaches strong, diverse team to achieve performance goals and business results in both warehouse and retail store.
• Develop and execute annual operating plans for store. Prepare and analyze business forecasts and reports, conduct audits and reviews to ensure business process and financial compliance.
• Manages store operations to ensure follow-through, productivity and quality in standard work and processes. Oversee store inventory program to ensure inventory levels to support customer availability and reduce OSMI. Forecast requirements and provide input to SIOP process.
• Responsible for showroom appearance
• Responsible for self-continuous education to stay current on market trends and products.
• Occasionally operate a forklift and lifting up to 50lbs.

As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the successful management and leadership of a Trane Supply Store and warehouse facility. In this role, you will oversee the store/facility management, lead and develop a dynamic team of store associates, and be a trusted advisor to customers. • Develop and execute annual operating plans for store. Prepare and analyze business forecasts and reports, conduct audits and reviews to ensure business process and financial compliance.
• Manages store operations to ensure follow-through, productivity and quality in standard work and processes. Oversee store inventory program to ensure inventory levels to support customer availability and reduce OSMI (Obsolete Slow-Moving Inventory). Forecast requirements and provide input to SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process.
• Responsible for showroom appearance
• Responsible for self-continuous education to stay current on market trends and products.
• Occasionally operate a forklift and lifting up to 50lbs.

What you will bring:

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 2+ years experience leading teams and building customer relationships.
• Must be results driven, a strong team player and be able to maintain a high energy level even with challenging situations or customers.
• Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program a plus along with strong computer skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic understanding of Lean Principles.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Driver’s License. Upon Hire Required.

***The below salary range is total target compensation which includes base and incentive**

$72,600.00 - $143,220.00
