We're seeking a Store Manager to join our team at store 60 in Buffalo, WY. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to the success of our store by applying your excellent communication and management skills in a fast-paced environment. This role will assist the Store Supervisor with the responsibility of all aspects of the store operations.

This is a full-time role with overtime pay, working 48 hours in a five-day week with work schedule flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the store to include hiring, training, coaching, conducting performance reviews and taking appropriate corrective and disciplinary action with employees as needed.
• Ensure all customers receive excellent service including quick, tactful handling of complaints.
• Ensure that sales are generated at the highest practical level. Direct store marketing activities and promotion programs to increase sales and market share.
• Reconcile purchase orders with delivery invoices in order to maintain the flow of inventory.
• Ensure monthly and annual performance objectives, as set by the business unit management are met for the store and the employees.
• Interact with vendors and maintain proper inventory levels to fulfill customer needs and wants within company guidelines.
• Ensure buildings, equipment and grounds are clean and inviting as well as properly stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Oversee and ensure all corporate policy, local, state, and federal government regulations are adhered to and required compliance documentation is complete.
• Monitor cashier, vendor and customer activity to discern theft or dishonesty.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• High School diploma or GED
• 4+ years of experience in Retail and/or Retail Merchandising and Customer Service
• Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities

• Ability to stand, squat, bend, and lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly
