SUMMARY:
At Fisher Auto Parts, the Store Manager is the senior position/leader in the store. The Store Manager must be knowledgeable in all facets of store operations and be fully committed to inspiring our associates to succeed, while instilling the highest levels of customer service within their market. Personal drive to grow the business profitably and with integrity is crucial for success. Success will be achieved through consistent execution of company objectives, policies, and procedures aligned with Fisher's core values of offering "the best quality at very competitive prices." Key Responsibilities

The Store Manager is responsible for all aspects of store operations, including:

  1. Managing daily business to meet company objectives and uphold core values;
  2. Achieving sales and expense targets, including accounts receivable goals;
  3. Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for associates and customers.
Knowledge, Skills, Duties, and Abilities
  • Consistently grow the business by exceeding sales, payroll, and profit goals, with focus on accounts receivable and credit collections;
  • Monitor and manage inventory for profitability and availability;
  • Contribute to pricing strategies within competitive markets;
  • Ensure safety and security standards are maintained;
  • Provide high standards of customer service and promptly address complaints;
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards;
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Make sound business decisions;
  • Communicate effectively with team and management;
  • Lead and develop store staff, hold them accountable, and manage resources efficiently;
  • Build strong relationships with staff, customers, and support teams;
  • Manage labor costs and inventory levels to maximize profitability;
  • Understand all facets of store operations, including inventory, parts distribution, and delivery systems;
  • Maintain organizational and motivational skills;
  • Utilize marketing and customer technology tools to increase sales;
  • Operate computerized systems like inventory control, invoicing, and credit systems;
  • Plan schedules to ensure store coverage and high customer service levels;
  • Ensure safety and manage activity within the store to meet business objectives;
  • Manage time effectively; and
  • Possess working knowledge of automotive systems.
Conditions of Employment
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • 2-3 years of management experience in wholesale/retail;
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR required;
  • Pre-employment drug test required;
  • ASE certification is a plus but not mandatory;
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures is required.
Work Schedule

Must be able to work flexible days, evenings, and weekends as needed to provide quality service and grow the business.

Physical Demands and Environment
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally;
  • Work may involve exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards, with moderate noise levels.
