About the Role
As a member of the Store Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all store attributes across the Gap Inc. Store Fleet in North America. This team manages cost, quality, and service-levels of all repairs, emergency response, disaster recovery and asset investment for the fleet. Close collaboration is required with internal teams (Real Estate, Real Estate Law, Finance, Store Operations, Field Leadership, Loss Prevention and Gap Tech) in addition to external entities (Service Providers and Landlords) to ensure Brand Standards and SLAs are met.
What You'll Do
  • Diagnose complex maintenance problems and projects, communicate with appropriate parties and driving issues to resolution and completion

  • Analyze data and recommending solutions, procedures and process improvements to meet or exceed customer service standards and department goals at the store and district level

  • Implementing cost savings initiatives through store education, vendor education and bundling services where possible

  • Execute store specific maintenance projects against schedule, budget, and scope

  • Responsible for quality of services and advice in meeting business partner needs

  • Responsible for end results of team and shares responsibility over resources, budget and adherence to policies

Who You Are
  • 2+ years Industry experience (retail preferred) OR Facilities contracting/construction knowledge

  • Ability to travel up to 40% (including overnight), as needed and ability to be on call after normal business hours and on holidays

  • Ability to travel into emergency situations, (hurricanes, storms, flooding, fire response).

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, database concepts

  • Strong skills operating in Service Channel.

  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
