Job summary

Walmart seeks a results-driven leader to drive store performance in Gloucester, VA. You will guide teams, teach training methods, monitor customer service standards, and lead initiatives to improve operations and community programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration across levels to ensure sales and service goals are met. Responsibilities include managing budgets, analyzing Profit & Loss statements, optimizing merchandising, and reducing shrink.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms training may be required.
• Associates may be required to attend and successfully complete trainings (e.g., Academy, Open Door).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer service excellence by implementing OBW service model and resolving customer issues.
• Supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, recognizing performance, and promoting belonging.
• Coordinate activities with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote continuous learning.
