Responsibilities

• Staffing and Scheduling: Ensures the right associates are in the right place, at the right time, doing the right work to serve the customer and plans for future staffing needs.
• Teaching and Training: Equips associates with the knowledge and skills to achieve excellence; training is planned, communicated, completed, and documented.
• Sales and Inventory: Maintains inventory flow and ensures products are available and ready for delivery; uses inventory signals for replenishment.
• Ops Standards and Continuous Improvement: Uses systems to deliver excellence; adheres to health and OSHA requirements; conducts store assessments.
• Prioritizing and Planning: Sets plans to achieve goals and communicates them clearly to the team.
• Coaching for Performance and Development: Provides feedback and coaching to drive performance.
• Effective Communication: Ensures associates have the right information and promotes Recognition programs.
• Business Analysis and Problem Solving: Assesses business trends, identifies gaps, and guides improvement; may operate cash handling.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises all department associates; responsibilities vary with store volume.
