Job summary

Skechers, a global Fortune 500® company, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Management Team in operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional customer service at Skechers stores.

You will manage inventory, enhance visual merchandising, and execute sales initiatives to drive profitability across Skechers retail locations. The role requires strong leadership, weekend/evening availability, and a commitment to an inclusive, high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience is preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' high standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking processes, and organize the sales floor for a seamless experience.
• Oversee scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and store operations; assist with lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies and exceeding sales targets.
• Proactively address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
