Job summary

Claire's in Houston is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store sales, engage customers with fashion styling, and oversee daily operations. You will help train staff, ensure excellent customer service, and promote our piercing services in a safe, professional environment.

The role requires a sales-driven mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Base pay is $14.00–$15.50 per hour with full-time, exempt status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience preferred.
• Strong sales-driven mindset and customer focus.
• Willingness to become a trained piercing specialist and provide expert guidance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead store sales by delivering an outstanding customer experience and driving revenue.
• Engage customers with styling advice, add-ons, and promotions.
• Provide piercing services training and safe, professional experiences for customers.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, handle transactions efficiently, and keep the store visually appealing.
• Coach and motivate the team to meet sales goals and customer service standards.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and translate knowledge into product recommendations.
