Job summary

Circle K in Sheridan, AR is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain store appearance and inventory. You will recruit, train, and schedule employees, ensuring excellent customer service and safe, compliant store environment.

Responsibilities include financial oversight, analyzing sales, managing cash, coordinating with suppliers, and communicating effectively with team and management to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment and materials.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to use a computer and analyze reports, inventory, and cash controls.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meet meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize service and manage site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, and counseling.
• Build positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote safety and manage performance appraisals in writing for staff.
• Train staff on safety procedures and ensure knowledge of company standards.
• Communicate effectively with team through meetings and updates.
• Organize files, reports, and store procedures; oversee merchandising and posters.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits; budget and forecast margins.
