Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Other combinations of job related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience With MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint And Word Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recap promotional activity for store management and report opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information.
• Manage controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to ensure promotions and new product introductions are implemented.
• Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues and work with vendors to ensure product availability.
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budget, schedule expenditures, and analyze variances to meet financial objectives.
