Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per federal and state laws and company policies.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, identify gaps and counsel up to termination as needed.
• Review pay rates and advancement opportunities for staff.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; lead meetings to reinforce policies.
• Open/close the store as needed, ensuring proper staffing and operations.
• Analyze operating statements for trends, expenses, and shrink; manage inventory and in-stock targets.
• Ensure merchandise is presented correctly with pricing and signage; maintain inventory controls.
• Maintain cashier accountability, security practices and bank deposit procedures.
• Deliver superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
