As a Store Leader in Training at Parker’s Kitchen, you will develop your skills to lead, plan, organize, and control store operations, including gasoline, retail, and food service. You will gain experience by covering Store Leader vacations, preparing for your promotion to Store Leader.

Store Leader in Training Responsibilities:

  • Ensure excellent customer service, merchandising, safety, and security standards during each shift.
  • Follow systems to control supplies, lottery, shrink, and expenses.
  • Adhere to laws regarding alcohol and tobacco sales, and ensure employees do the same.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and products to assist employees and customers.
  • Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager to meet deli department expectations.
  • Monitor product quality, shelf life, and presentation.
  • Lead by example with appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.

Requirements for Store Leader in Training:

  • Prior management experience in retail or within Parker’s.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of ServSafe Certification.
  • Completion of age-restricted alcohol and tobacco sales training.
  • Completion of UST Training.

Work Conditions:

  • Shift Length: 8 to 10 hours, varies.
  • Environment: Wet floors, temperature extremes, loud noise.
