Job summary

Family Dollar in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area is seeking a Store Manager for a full-time on-site role. You will lead daily operations, schedule staff, and ensure a welcoming, well-stocked, and compliant store environment.

Responsibilities include inventory monitoring, merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, and training; you will coach employees, address performance, and maintain a positive, inclusive workplace aligned with Family Dollar values.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience.
• Effective Communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and leadership, and to provide clear direction and feedback.
• Proven Store Management experience, including daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and inventory oversight in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrink, ensure accurate cash handling, and promote a secure store environment.
• Additional beneficial qualifications: prior multi-department retail experience, basic financial and merchandising skills, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coaching and problem-solving; high school diploma or equivalent required, with some college or retail management training considered a plus.
