Job summary

Rogan's Shoes is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Store Lead to oversee an area of the store and grow into a leadership position.

You will lead a department, greet customers, train associates, and manage cash handling while organizing merchandise and supporting sales initiatives. This role offers growth into management with flexible full-time or part-time hours and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred).
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead a department (Women’s, Men’s, or Children’s) and support store standards.
• Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude.
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling.
• Handle transactions, returns, and till counts as needed.

• Greet and assist customers with a positive, helpful attitude
• Train and guide associates on service, product placement, and cash handling
• Handle transactions, returns, and safe/till counts as needed
• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves
• Promote current sales and programs
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team

What We\'re Looking For:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred)
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
• Comfortable bending, squatting, and reaching for merchandise
• Able to move quickly in a fast-paced store environment
