Job summary

Shoe Carnival in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Store Lead to oversee a department and grow into a leadership role. You will lead a department, greet and assist customers, train associates on service and cash handling, and help with merchandise, displays, and floor moves. The role emphasizes initiative, teamwork, and reliable daily performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred)
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Responsibilities

• Lead a department (such as Women’s, Men’s and Children’s departments) and support overall store standards
