Job summary

Shoe Carnival is seeking a motivated Store Lead in a dynamic retail environment. You will oversee a store department, greet customers, train associates, and manage transactions while ensuring merchandise is organized and displays are compelling.

The role offers opportunities to grow into leadership positions, with flexible full-time or part-time hours and a supportive team. Daily pay is available for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in retail or cash handling preferred.

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

• Organize merchandise, displays, and help with truck unloading and floor moves
• Promote current sales and programs
• Delegate tasks and communicate clearly with the team

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in taking initiative and leading by example
• At least one year experience in retail, sales, or cash handling (preferred)
• Ability to learn and operate the POS system
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts
• Comfortable bending, squatting, and reaching for merchandise
• Able to move quickly in a fast-paced store environment
