Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Manager on Duty to lead store staff in delivering sales, service and store operations.

You will model company values, coach staff, communicate priorities, and ensure the team is equipped to maximize the business. You will participate in staffing, training, and implementing store programs, staying informed on corporate directives, and driving brand standards across locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Retail or Sales experience.
• Creative individual with good judgement and business sense.
• Self-motivated, results oriented, strategic thinker.
• Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams.
• Proficient with technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing.
• Ability to operate a computer and POS System.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb a ladder as needed.
• You may work across multiple store or site locations and across brands.

Responsibilities

• Supports the management team in achieving store business plans including sales, customer service and operations.
• Leverages store reports to understand decisions that drive the business.
• Participates in outreach opportunities and communicates leads to Store Manager.
• Identifies performance opportunities and works with management on development plans.
• Partners with management to ensure proper staffing for initiatives and tasks.
• Assists in training store staff on internal operational functions.
• Stays informed on corporate directives, initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Supports implementing store programs to increase efficiencies in sales, service, operations, and branding.
• Contributes to an engaged and inclusive store environment.
• Supports learning and development, ensuring training tools are used.
• Serves as a role model with enthusiastic leadership.
• Leads regular store meetings to keep staff aligned with directives.
• Trains store team on customer service expectations to enhance the customer experience and NPS.
• Leverages customer feedback to resolve concerns.
• Collaborates to maintain brand-standard visuals and execute marketing initiatives.
