Dollar General Corporation in Columbus, OH is seeking a detail‑oriented Cashier/Stocker to provide exceptional customer service, stock and display merchandise, and perform cashier duties. Lead in the absence of the Store Manager and Assist Manager to help run daily operations.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, merchandising, handling cash, and ensuring a clean, safe store environment. Evening/early shifts and willingness to support store needs are required.

Formación

• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposit control and accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Familiarity with cash, safety, and facility policies and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and follow receiving processes.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; face shelves and build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Order zones and drops as assigned by Store Manager.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; manage trash and dust.
