Job summary

URBN in Burlington, VT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support selling, service, and operations in our Free People store. You will lead the team, drive brand experiences, and collaborate with partners to deliver outstanding customer service and visual standards.

Responsibilities include coaching, onboarding new hires, scheduling, payroll, and ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience using MPOS/POS systems. A strong customer focus and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years store leadership experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver excellent customer service and styling recommendations.
• Drive omni-channel shopping experiences through MPOS/POS and customer service tools.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing store staff to build bench strength.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and daily operating standards to meet store goals.
• Collaborate with partners to maintain visual standards and brand presentation.
