Job Title: Sales Associate, Full or Part Time

Job Purpose
Ensure proper and efficient store operation during your shift, contributing to store profitability.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Customer Service:

• Greet all customers promptly and courteously, including via gasoline intercom, adhering to Best In Class standards.
• Maintain store appearance according to company standards.
• Ensure store is open and ready for business during all hours.
• Handle customer conflicts using our MAKE IT RIGHT method.

General Job Duties:

• Commit to our Vision/Mission (T.H.A.N.K.S).
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
• Follow all applicable laws and policies.
• Adhere to posted work schedule unless otherwise arranged.
• Report sales, cash, or operational discrepancies to the Store Manager.
• Participate in company contests and suggestive selling.

Accounting:

• Complete shift checklists and record hours accurately.
• Ring all sales properly, including voids, refunds, and overrides.

Human Resources:

• Inform the Store Manager of personnel issues or policy violations.
• Treat all co-workers and customers with dignity and respect.
• Record hours worked and comply with Responsible Retailing policies.

Security:

• Follow cash handling and safety procedures.
• Protect company assets and ensure a safe environment.

Merchandising and Maintenance:

• Keep store stocked, clean, and well-maintained.
• Check refrigeration and cleaning equipment regularly.

Safety and Promotions:

• Follow proper ladder and lifting procedures.
• Use wet floor signs and report accidents promptly.
• Promote Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App and assist customers with sign-up and usage.
