Job Description

Title: Store HR Safety Compliance Specialist

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: HR Supervisor

The compensation range complies with state laws. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, and state laws.
  • Communicate HR and Safety policies to staff and management.
  • Handle HR/Safety concerns and serve as the primary compliance representative.
  • Assist in staffing, hiring, onboarding, and maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Conduct safety and health inspections, coordinate safety programs, and manage safety supplies.
  • Investigate employee complaints, conduct training, and assist in workplace injury investigations.
  • Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate with Risk Management on safety and health initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and build relationships.
Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of labor laws and OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to commute to multiple locations.
Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Non-exempt position.
