Minuteman Food Mart is seeking a General Manager I Trainee to learn all store operations and leadership duties in a fast-paced retail environment. This developmental role provides hands-on training in daily operations, customer service excellence, and team supervision to prepare for a future General Manager position.

You will gain exposure to inventory, merchandising, sales analysis, and people management while contributing to a customer-focused store culture informed by our family-led values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s preferred in related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for customer interactions.
• Leadership potential and willingness to grow into management.
• Basic analytical skills for sales data interpretation.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operational Training: Learn daily store operations and inventory management.
• Customer Service Excellence: Train to provide outstanding service in a welcoming environment.
• Team Leadership: Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff.
• Sales and Financial Performance: Analyze sales data and support targets.
• Merchandising and Promotions: Support merchandising strategies and promotions.
