Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a General Manager who can lead a high-performance store team, drive profitability, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll recruit, coach, and develop staff, execute operating plans, analyze sales and labor data, and ensure food safety and quality standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail, food service, or restaurant management experience (High-volume preferred)
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills
• Ability to analyze business metrics and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting
• Knowledge of labor laws and staffing best practices

Responsibilities

• Effectively and accurately execute the RaceTrac store plan to ensure brand consistency and enhance guest experience.
• Foster a Guest-Obsessed culture by rallying team members around a guest-focused approach, implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience, and proactively addressing concerns.
• Employ strategies to boost spirits during busy and stressful times, creating an enjoyable environment for all guests, team members, and vendors.
• Foster a food safety mindset within the store through continuous coaching and training on food safety and standards.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all standards are met or exceeded.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies, including team incentives, to support food promotions and reinforce a Guest Obsessed culture.
