Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a General Manager for our Scotch Plains location at 1734 East 2nd St. This full-time role oversees store operations, inventory, and customer service, ensuring efficient delivery and order processing.

You will lead daily tasks such as stocking from delivery, processing phone orders, taking inventory, and maintaining a clean facility, while coordinating deliveries by car and guiding flyers and door hanger campaigns.

Qualifications

• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Strong verbal, writing, and telephone communication skills.
• Able to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen for orders.
• Must be able to deliver product by car to customers' doors.
• Good navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses.
• Able to work in delivery and store areas including stairs and multi-story buildings.

Responsibilities

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to door of customer; deliver flyers and door hangers.
